Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
1. About Our Services
Westford Immigration Services is led by Md Ashiqur Rahman, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC, R708023) licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC). We provide Canadian immigration consultation and application assistance, including but not limited to Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, Study Permits, Work Permits, Family Sponsorship, Business Migration, and Refusal/Appeals matters.
2. No Guarantee of Outcome
All Canadian immigration applications are ultimately assessed and decided by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the relevant provincial/territorial authority — not by Westford Immigration Services. While we apply our professional expertise to assess your eligibility and prepare the strongest possible application, we cannot and do not guarantee the approval of any application, visa, permit, or permanent residence outcome. Immigration policies, processing times, and program requirements can change at any time and are outside of our control.
3. Fees & Payment
- Our professional fees are separate from any government (IRCC or provincial) application, biometrics, or right-of-permanent-residence fees, which are always payable in addition to our fees
- Most services are billed in installments as described on our Fees & Charges page; each installment corresponds to a defined stage of work
- Fees paid for work already performed (e.g. consultation, assessment, or document preparation already completed) are non-refundable
- We reserve the right to decline to act for a prospective client following the initial assessment, in which case only the consultation/assessment fee already incurred is payable
- Published fees and starting prices are subject to change; the fees confirmed in your individual engagement/retainer agreement will govern your specific case
4. Free Assessment
Our Free Assessment form is a preliminary screening tool intended to give you a general indication of which Canadian immigration programs may be relevant to your profile. It is not a full eligibility assessment and does not constitute formal immigration advice. A complete, paid consultation is required before we can confirm your eligibility or begin any application on your behalf.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information and documentation at all times
- Respond to our requests and IRCC/provincial requests for information within the deadlines provided
- Notify us promptly of any change in circumstances that may affect your application (e.g. marital status, employment, criminal record, medical condition)
- Understand that misrepresentation to IRCC is a serious offence that can result in a ban from Canada, and that we cannot knowingly submit false or misleading information
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and the Westford Immigration Services name and branding, is the property of Westford Immigration Services unless otherwise credited, and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Westford Immigration Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, from delays or decisions made by IRCC or other government authorities, or from changes in immigration law or policy that occur after advice has been given. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under CICC's professional conduct rules.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to or embed third-party services such as Google Forms, Google Maps, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of these third-party services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, where Westford Immigration Services operates. Md Ashiqur Rahman's conduct as an RCIC is separately governed by the rules and code of professional conduct of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) in Canada.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
